The Sinn Fein national executive meeting in Dublin on Saturday has been postponed due to the bad weather.
Sinn Fein's Gerry Adams said the Ard Chomhairle was to discuss "the growing crisis in the political process".
He said it was temporarily postponed as "given the seriousness of what we have to discuss it is imperative that we have the fullest attendance".
"We are totally dissatisfied with the approach taken by the DUP and this has continued in recent days," he said.
